Job summary

BBSI is expanding into new markets and growing as a publicly traded company serving small and mid-sized businesses nationwide. We are seeking an experienced Retirement Plan Analyst to join our Corporate Operations team and support our growing multi-client, multi-state 401(k) program.

Base salary plus an 8% target bonus. You will support employees and clients with 401(k) questions, assist with plan administration, and ensure compliance across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years of retirement-plan administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of retirement-plan regulations and compliance.
• Experience with plan documents and required filings, including Form 5500.

• Support employees and clients with 401(k) questions and technical issues.
• Assist with eligibility, funding, contributions, loans, billing, and plan administration.
• Support compliance reviews, nondiscrimination testing, audits, and required filings.
• Monitor regulatory changes and help maintain plan compliance.
• Review retirement-plan documents and identify potential issues.
• Analyze and reconcile data using Excel and other systems.
• Assist with plan changes, corrections, Open Enrollment, system testing, and special projects.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of retirement-plan administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of retirement-plan regulations and compliance.
• Experience with plan documents and required filings, including Form 5500.
• Strong Excel, analytical, organizational, and project-management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team while handling confidential information.

Salary: $82,000-$92,000 annually, based on experience, skills, education, geography, and other qualifications. Incentive compensation may also apply.
