The role requires 5+ years in municipal pension management or related fields, strong communication and presentation skills, and credentials such as Series 7/66/63/65; a CFA, MBA, or master's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Municipal pension management experience or background preferred.
• Experience in a relationship management role serving as primary liaison with clients, preferably institutional.
• Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, and presentation.
• Strong presentation skills to address individuals or large groups.
• Self-starter with ability to set priorities, manage duties, and exceed client expectations.
• Series 7, 66, or 63/65 registration or ability to quickly obtain credentials.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related fields; CFA designation, MBA or master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a pension consultant and investment liaison for municipal clients.
• Attend investment and consulting meetings to review performance and provide market commentary.
• Act as process owner for reports outlined in GPS consulting agreements.
• Maintain and strengthen client relationships through meetings and Univest-sponsored events.
• Coordinate with actuarial firms to facilitate cost studies, ordinance reviews, and other complex client requests.
• Ensure compliance with asset allocation models and IPS, including implementation and documentation of new or revised IPSs.
• Oversee the preparation and distribution of periodic pension plan performance reports.
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations, including the Univest Code of Conduct.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Wage Range

The annual salary for this position ranges from $85,000-$100,000.
