The Pennsylvania Game Commission is looking to hire several Dispatchers to work in our 24 hour Dispatch Center in Harrisburg. If you excel at communicating clearly and effectively in any situation and are looking for a challenging and rewarding career, then the Pennsylvania Game Commission would like to talk to you!
In this position, you will perform public service dispatching work receiving, dispatching, and coordinating information and processes. Responsibilities include processing both emergency and non-emergency calls from the public, PGC Personnel, or other emergency and non-emergency services. This involves accurately obtaining relevant information and effectively relating to or communicating with a variety of personality types. You will provide quick and accurate information to callers in reference to wildlife related situations and recognize situations that require immediate response by a field officer or those requiring supervisory attention.
