• Base pay range: $20.76/hr - $31.67/hr

Position Overview

This role involves monitoring and inspecting highway and structure construction projects for PennDOT, including concrete or asphalt roadways, structures, drainage, and safety components.

Primary Responsibilities

• Follow standards such as Specification 408, RC, BC, TC
• Review project plans and schedules
• Complete daily reports and documentation using an iPad
• Prepare work orders and estimates per the Operations Manual

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with highway/structure construction inspection experience and certifications such as NICET, ACI, NECEPT (Concrete and Asphalt), Nuclear Gauge Certification
• Or a Civil Engineering Degree with relevant experience
• Valid driver’s license with a good record
