Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health's Neuroscience Institute seeks a BE/BC Neurologist with an EMG/NCS focus to join a growing, collegial group of board-certified neurologists and APPs in a busy clinic.

The position offers 50% EMG/NCS and 50% evaluation and management of clinic patients, with call no more than 1:8 by phone; there may be opportunities for inpatient rounding. We value teamwork and high-quality care close to home for Lancaster County.

Qualifications

• BE/BC Neurologist with EMG/NCS focus.
• Fellowship training in EMG-focused Neurophysiology or Neuromuscular medicine.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Unrestricted PA Medical License or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

The Neuroscience Institute at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health is seeking a BE/BC Neurologist with a focus in performance of EMG/NCS. Join our growing group of well-trained, collegial board certified neurologists and skilled APP’s in caring for an interesting, diverse population in our busy clinic.

In order to maximize clinical care along with life-style, this full time Monday through Friday position allows for 50% EMG/NCS, along with 50% evaluation and management of clinic patients with a variety of neurological diagnoses. Call schedule is no more than 1:8 by phone and outpatient only. Opportunity for inpatient hospital rounding as interested may be available.

Requirements

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Medicine (Allopathic/Osteopathic)
• Completion of an accredited Neurology residency
• Fellowship training in EMG focused Neurophysiology or Neuromuscular
• Intra-operative monitoring a plus
• Possess or able to obtain an unrestricted PA Medical License
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
