Penn Medicine Lancaster is seeking a BE/BC Geriatric Neurologist to join a growing team in Lancaster, PA. Join board-certified neurologists and skilled APPs in caring for an aging population with neurodegenerative diseases, in a state-of-the-art memory center expansion.

The role offers clinical time between neurology and memory clinic, potential satellite site development, and opportunities in medical directorship, research, and teaching within a nationally recognized academic system.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be BE/BC in Neurology and focus on geriatric populations.
• Fellowship in cognitive/behavioral neurology or geriatric neurology preferred.
• Unrestricted PA medical license must be obtainable.

Responsabilités

• Clinical time shared between LGHP Neurology and LGHP Alzheimer’s and Memory Clinic.
• Development of a satellite site within Willow Valley Communities Memory Center.
• Medical directorship, research development, and teaching opportunities available.
• Call schedule is no more than 1:8 by phone; outpatient only.

Formation

Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine (Allopathic/Osteopathic)

Completion of an accredited Neurology residency

Fellowship in Behavioral Neurology or Geriatric Neurology preferred

Unrestricted PA Medical License

Board Certified or Board Eligible

Penn Medicine Lancaster is seeking a BE/BC Geriatric Neurologist to join their growing team in Lancaster, PA. Join a group of well-trained, collegial board certified neurologists and skilled APP’s in caring for an interesting, diverse population in our busy clinic. Candidates must be BE/BC in Neurology, and have an interest in focusing their clinical practice upon geriatric populations, to include the care of neurodegenerative diseases. Fellowship training in cognitive/behavioral neurology or geriatric neurology is advantageous, but others with a dedicated interest to geriatric populations will also be considered.

This position has an anticipated schedule of Monday through Friday, with clinical time shared between the LGHP Neurology practice and the LGHP Alzheimer’s and Memory Clinic, which is anticipating the development of a satellite site located within the state of the art Willow Valley Communities Memory Center. Call schedule is no more than 1:8 by phone and outpatient only. Medical directorship, research development, and teaching opportunities are available for interested and qualified candidates.

Requirements

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Medicine (Allopathic/Osteopathic)
• Completion of an accredited Neurology residency
• Completion of Behavioral Neurology or Geriatric Neurology fellowship preferred
• Possess or able to obtain an unrestricted PA Medical License
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
