Job Summary

TestPros seeks an experienced Penetration Tester to support our IT Security consulting work for various projects. This role involves conducting penetration tests in both hosted and cloud environments, working with client teams to plan, execute, and report findings. The ideal candidate is delivery-focused, capable of managing all aspects of consulting projects including requirements analysis, proposals, resource planning, and client relations. The position is remote.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and report on penetration tests, providing improvement recommendations
• Ensure high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction
• Understand client requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Estimate project time and costs accurately
• Promote continuous learning, innovation, and excellence
• Collaborate with development, product, and customer success teams
• Develop and review statements of work, change requests, and proposals
• Track project progress through reports and documentation
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to meet objectives
• Address security questions from developers, designers, and content contributors

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of penetration testing experience
• Certifications such as Security+, CEH, GPEN, OSCP, AWS, or equivalent preferred
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and industry best practices
• Experience with various testing methods and tools
• Proficiency with command-line tools across OS platforms
• Manual scripting skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell, C/C++
• Experience with tools like Metasploit, Nikto, SQLMAP, Burp Suite, etc.
• Ability to conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests
• Understanding of risk mitigation strategies
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
