Job summary

A-LIGN is seeking a remote penetration tester in the United States to perform external, web app, and API assessments. You will collaborate with clients and teammates in a fast-paced cybersecurity environment to identify vulnerabilities and map attack paths.

Responsibilities include executing tests, manually exploiting findings, and delivering clear reports that communicate risk and remediation strategies. A relevant degree or certifications plus 2–5 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of penetration testing experience with a relevant degree or certifications.
• Experience with Burp Suite, Nmap, scripting languages and web technologies.
• Ability to assess attack paths, write reports and communicate findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Execute penetration tests on web apps and APIs, identifying vulnerabilities.
• Manually exploit issues and evaluate potential attack paths.
• Write clear reports detailing risk and remediation steps for clients.
