Job summary

LV8D Solutions seeks a Pen Tester to perform security focused services and improve the security posture of ISs. The candidate will write ISAPs and TISSRs, conduct government-approved tests, and deliver a detailed findings report with the government’s approval.

Pen Testers progress from Level 1 to Level 3, mentoring juniors, and developing advanced exploitation techniques. On-site work is required at government or contractor facilities with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; 0–4 years of relevant experience depending on level.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning and scripting preferred.
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic reconnaissance and vulnerability scanning following established testing methodologies.
• Identify common vulnerabilities that can be exploited and document findings.
• Design and conduct penetration tests, exploring misconfigurations and exploits, developing exploitation techniques.
• Provide technical guidance to stakeholders.
• Develop customized tools and methodologies.
• Offer expert guidance on security best practices and lead remediation efforts.
