Securin, an AI-native cybersecurity company in Albuquerque, NM, seeks a hands-on Penetration Tester to blend testing and prototype tool development. You will perform security assessments, craft test plans, and present findings to clients, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to remediate vulnerabilities and strengthen security postures.

You will apply offensive testing in enterprise environments, stay current on threats, and contribute to testing methodologies and security policies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in computer science or information security.
• 2–5 years of penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on networks, systems, and apps.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, and Rust with scripting ability.
• Deep knowledge of testing tools and frameworks (Kali, Metasploit, Burp, Nmap, Wireshark).
• Understanding of OWASP Top 10, CVE, CWE, SANS, NIST and MITRE ATT&CK.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive penetration testing on systems, networks, and applications.
• Identify and exploit vulnerabilities using manual and automated methods.
• Document findings and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Develop and execute detailed test plans and methodologies for tests.
• Collaborate with developers, sysadmins, and network engineers to remediate issues.
• Lead client communications, timelines, and expectations for engagements.
• Stay current on threats and testing techniques; contribute to security policy improvements.
• Participate in red team exercises and simulate real-world attack scenarios using MITRE ATT&CK.
