Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Penetration Tester 3 in Columbia, MD to join a team supporting mission-critical projects for national security. You will provide testing expertise across the Risk Management Framework, conduct vulnerability and penetration testing, and evaluate emerging technologies in information systems security.

Qualified candidates will have DoD 8570 IAT III certifications, 8+ years of related testing experience, and a TS/SCI Poly clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Engineering, or related field.
• In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, 12 years of Penetration Testing experience may be substituted for 12 years total experience.
• DoD 8570 compliance with IAT III required (CASP+CE, CCNP Security, CISA, GCED, GCIH, CCSP, CISSP or Associate).
• Eight (8) years of related Penetration Testing experience with network and application testing.

In this role you will support challenging, mission-critical projects that make a direct impact on the nation's security and intelligence mission.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert providing testing expertise of the Risk Management Framework.
• Direct and/or participate in the testing phase of security controls assessments using specialized knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, architectures, equipment, services, and standards.

Minimum Education:

• In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, four (4) additional years of Penetration Testing experience may be substituted for a total of twelve (12) years of experience.

Required Certifications:

• DoD 8570 compliance with IAT III is required - CASP+CE (now SecurityX), CCNP Security, CISA, GCED, GCIH, CCSP, CISSP (or Associate)
