Job summary

Orion Placement is seeking a PEMB construction foreman to lead field activities on commercial projects across Arizona, based in Mesa. You will manage crews, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and timely completion while reading PEMB drawings and maintaining site discipline.

The role requires 4+ years of PEMB foreman experience, OSHA 30, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of PEMB construction foreman experience.
• Strong experience with PEMB/PEMB steel erection, metal roofs, wall systems, and insulation.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Arizona drivers license and acceptable driving record required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily field activities for PEMB steel erection, metal roofing, wall systems, insulation, and related trades.
• Direct crews and subcontractors while maintaining safe, productive, and organized jobsites.
• Read and communicate PEMB shop drawings, erection drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Coordinate sequencing, manpower, materials, equipment, deliveries, and project milestones.
• Conduct toolbox talks, daily jobsite meetings, field reports, and progress documentation.
• Communicate job progress, resource needs, field issues, and potential delays to project management.
• Oversee proper material handling, storage, installation, and quality control.
• Verify subcontractor scope and coordinate work between trades.
• Manage inspections, deficiencies, punch-list items, and field completion activities.
• Perform and supervise work from the ground, lifts, and elevated surfaces while following required PPE and safety procedures.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Location

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Mesa, Arizona, supporting commercial construction projects throughout Arizona, primarily across Maricopa County.

Note

Candidates must have 4+ years of foreman experience specifically involving pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB/PEB), including hands-on experience with metal building erection. General ironworker experience without meaningful PEMB experience is not sufficient for this position.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
