Schedule: Part Time 20hrs/week

Shift: Monday 1pm-7pm, Tuesday 4pm-7pm, Wednesday 1pm-7pm and Friday 1pm-6pm.

Location: 960 Rinehart Road Suite 1050 Lake Mary, FL 32746.

The role you’ll contribute:

When you join our team of over 40 Outpatient Clinics across Central Florida, you will be part of a winning team of experts dedicated to whole-person care to help our patients heal, strengthen and renew. We serve patients in Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Polk, Volusia, Flagler and Lake Counties with a dedicated team of therapists, clinicians and staff committed to AdventHealth’s mission.

As a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting, you will provide professional direct and indirect services to specific age groups in the outpatient rehabilitation settings. Utilize process improvement in achieving the goals of the Sports Med and Rehab Department. Practice autonomously and collaboratively to provide best practice to the patient/client, characterized by independent, self-determined, professional judgment and action.

• Determine Physical Therapy Diagnosis and establish plan of care, make referrals outside scope if needed.
• Perform Direct Access Physical Therapy in outpatient setting, as per state law.
• Assess patient ability to perform functional mobility and evaluate systems.
• Design and implement treatment plans, monitor responses, and modify as needed.
• Document and charge accurately and timely following standards and policies.

The expertise and experiences needed:

Minimum qualifications:

• Licensed in Florida as a Physical Therapist or with a Temporary Permit.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Preferred qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience as a Pelvic Physical Therapist.
