Job summary

UNC Health Care in Durham, NC seeks a per diem pelvic health physical therapist to evaluate, plan, and administer PT treatments under physician supervision. The clinic hosts the Women’s Health residency program, offering mentorship and growth opportunities.

Candidates must be licensed as a Physical Therapist in North Carolina and graduated from an accredited PT program, with BLS. Prior pelvic floor experience is preferred, but not required, and there is potential to cover leaves and help grow

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current North Carolina Physical Therapist license.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Select and perform PT evaluation procedures to identify problems; set goals and plan; re-evaluate as patient changes.
• Manage resources needed to perform the PT plan.
• Complete PT documentation in the medical record for billing and statistics.
• Manage PT caseload efficiently.
• Provide supervision and teaching for PT students or staff; plan orientation and coaching.
• Coordinate clinical programs and communicate with physicians and supervisors.
