Job summary

Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy in New York is seeking a motivated, compassionate FULL TIME Pelvic Physical Therapist to join a growing multidisciplinary team. The role offers a well-trained support staff, a state-of-the-art space, and opportunities to treat a full pelvic caseload or a mix with orthopedic patients.

Qualified candidates will have NY licensure, 1–2 years pelvic rehab experience, and a passion for women's and men's pelvic health.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in NY or eligible.
• Passion for Women's and Men's Pelvic Health.
• 1–2 years in pelvic rehabilitation; 2 years in outpatient setting.
• Women’s Health Certification is a plus; willing to train the right candidate.
• Strong manual skills are a must.
• First Aid, AED, CPR certifications are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and develops appropriate pelvic, ortho, or combined PT treatment plans.
• Provides high-quality care following physician care plans and professional standards.
• Manages caseload including prenatal/postpartum care, pelvic pain, incontinence, and prolapse.
• Focuses on prevention and treatment of functional disorders in abdominal, pelvic, and low back regions.
• Educates patients and families; collaborates with physicians and hospital staff.
• Operates equipment and guides mobility and strengthening exercises.
