Pelvic Health Physical Therapist – Bedford, TX

Beyond Therapy is the longest-standing outpatient PT clinic that focuses on women’s health in Tarrant County. Our primary focus is pelvic rehab and lymphedema. We are a team of 9 therapists, all specialized in pelvic health and/or lymphedema. We treat men, women, and children of all ages, and our mission is to improve the lives of our neighbors and community.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience and is passionate about the patient experience. They also understand the power of their skills to improve the lives of our patients. Training and mentorship are available for the right candidate if they are new to pelvic rehab and/or lymphedema.

Responsibilities

  1. 8-40 hours a week doing evaluations and treatments with a focus on pelvic rehab and/or lymphedema.
  2. Assess each patient and develop an appropriate treatment plan with measurable goals and time frames.
  3. Work with other staff, community professionals, and PTAs to coordinate care.

Qualifications

  1. Master’s or Doctor’s degree from an accredited physical therapy university.
  2. License in Physical Therapy and Texas state license.
  3. Pelvic floor coursework in performing internal assessments.
  4. Lymphedema certification or interest in becoming certified.
  5. Some pelvic health experience or a very strong interest and a drive to learn and grow.

Skills

Easily establish a rapport with patients and gain trust and confidence. Skillfully educate patients on progression, expectations, and pathway to success. We are looking for a therapist that is highly motivated to provide the highest quality care with a compassionate and patient heart.
