Howard University is seeking a Pelvic Floor Care Navigator to support research, community outreach, and clinical care within the UROGYN Division of OBGYN. You will recruit participants, coordinate visits, and assist in patient care while safeguarding privacy and data integrity.

You will collaborate with clinicians, marketing, and community partners to promote services, educate patients, and participate in outreach efforts across the DMV region.

Qualifications

• Spanish fluency required; Medical Spanish Translator Certification preferred.
• Associate degree in Medical Technology, Nursing or related field or minimum of seven years related experience.
• Certification or registration as a Medical Technology or completion of a Medical Assistant program is required.

Responsabilités

• Recruit, screen, and consent study participants per approved protocols.
• Schedule study sessions, assessments, and follow-up visits.
• Coordinate with clinicians and research partners to monitor progress.
• Support study operations, data management, tracking, and reporting software.
• Assist participants navigating HU/HUH systems.
• Prepare patients for medical appointments, vital signs, instruments, and procedures.
• Assist in examinations, wound care, medication administration, and patient education.
• Maintain inventory and adherence to policies; ensure quality control.
• Engage in community outreach to promote urogynecology services and research participation.

Connaissances

Spanish fluency

Formation

Associate degree in Medical Technology, Nursing or related field; OR 7+ years related experience

Medical Technology certification or Medical Assistant program completion
