Responsibilities

We are a mobile pelvic floor specialty practice located in the Twin Cities area of MN. Our in-home visits allow busy women in the Twin Cities to receive convenient care without leaving their homes.

Our goal is to help as many women as possible to experiencelasting relieffrom pelvic pain and dysfunction and return to the activities they love without hesitation.

We are able to pay our therapists well without overworking them so they experience a better work-life balance. Family comes first here at Moms in Motion PT.

We are searching for a part-time physical or occupational therapist who specializes in treating the pelvic floor. However, no pelvic health experience is required. If you are passionate about working with moms and love to learn, we would love to have you on our team.

We are looking for someone to serve our central, east, and northeast metro areas, including but not limited to St. Paul, Roseville, Inver Grove Heights, Shoreview, Arden Hills, Blaine, Lino Lakes, Mahtomedi, Oakdale, Woodbury, Maplewood, and occasional clients in Lake Elmo and Stillwater.

We provide continual mentorship and learning opportunities to our therapists.

We are looking for someone who is motivated, friendly, empathetic, positive, and energetic. We are looking for someone who has excellent written and verbal communication skills, has a strong desire to grow as a physical therapist, and has the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

Our therapists have full autonomy and full decision making over their patient care so you are independent, but we provide guidance and mentorship so you never feel alone.

We see patients 1:1 for 55-60 minutes. We do not bill insurance, so documentation is minimal each day. We provide mentorship and allow therapists new to the pelvic health world to feel confident, competent, and proficient. Qualifications:

• PT or OT License in MN
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy

Responsibilities:

• This position is for a mobile pelvic floor therapist who will travel to patient’s homes for most sessions, with occasional virtual sessions.
• This candidate will be expected to travel 10-25 miles on a regular basis to and between patient’s homes and occasionally up to 35 miles.
• Candidate will be responsible for examining, evaluating, and treating patients, providing home exercise programs for patients, and all necessary documentation for each visit.

Physical Work Requirements:

• MN Driver’s license
• Vehicle with capacity to stow treatment table with carrying case (4’ x 3’ x 0.75’)
• Required to lift and carry the treatment table with carrying case and all necessary supplies (~35lbs) to and from vehicle, into patients’ homes, and navigate stairs
• Candidate will be required to lift and carry backpack with supplies (~15lbs) to and from vehicle, into patients’ homes, and navigate stairs
