Job summary

WellSpan Health in Gettysburg is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with pelvic floor experience to deliver PT services to individual patients, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.

This full-time role requires 80 hours biweekly, negotiable clinic hours, and offers comprehensive benefits as listed. Minimum education includes a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy, with licensure on hire and BLS. Prior experience less than 1 year is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in physical therapy required.
• Licensed Physical Therapist on hire.
• Basic Life Support on hire.
• Pelvic Floor experience required.
• Less than 1 year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patient using diagnostic and prognostic tests.
• Plans individualized physical therapy program with exercises and modalities.
• Directs and supervises patient in various exercises and re-education.
• Provides instructions for continued therapy post-discharge.
• Coordinates physical therapy with interdisciplinary team to achieve goals.
• Trains medical and nursing staff in physical therapy techniques.
• Uses safe patient handling for transfers.
• Supervises PTAs and Rehab Aides as required by PA act.
• Maintains patient records to support medical necessity.
