SHEFit Physical Therapy in San Diego seeks an experienced prenatal/postpartum pelvic floor physical therapist committed to quality care. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in pelvic floor therapy and outpatient orthopedics, ready to provide one-on-one attention to clients.
This position offers flexibility with hours and may include part-time or full-time work depending on the candidate's fit. Responsibilities include the treatment of pelvic floor conditions and guiding women back to fitness.
SHEFitPT is the premier pre/postnatal pelvic floor PT clinic in San Diego. We offer the highest quality care via one‑on‑one appointments with experienced pelvic floor PTs, who take a holistic approach to women's physical wellness throughout the lifespan.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a compassionate, energetic, experienced prenatal/postpartum pelvic floor physical therapist with a strong work ethic, commitment to patients, and desire to grow with the company. Start date is flexible – we are looking for the RIGHT fit, not just someone to fill an opening.
We believe in providing the best care and customer service to clients with prenatal, postnatal, pelvic floor, and orthopedic conditions. We treat the whole person – not just one assigned body part – and are passionate about helping women achieve pain‑free, fit pregnancies, strong recoveries after birth, and smooth return to all fitness and lifestyle activities, including high‑intensity training and heavy lifting.
As a hybrid clinic (we accept cash and Tricare only), we are committed to providing excellent service based on high levels of training and experience. Our ideal candidate has completed intermediate level coursework in prenatal/postnatal and pelvic floor assessment and treatment, feels confident treating diastasis recti abdominis, prolapse, incontinence, tailbone pain, dyspareunia, pregnancy‑related pelvic girdle/low back pain, and guiding clients to return to higher‑level fitness activities like weightlifting and running. They must be excellent at determining patients' needs, possess extraordinary communication skills to motivate women in achieving their goals, and be comfortable seeing clients with chronic pelvic pain and endometriosis.
This position may be part‑time or full‑time for the right candidate, requiring fluctuating hours to cover colleagues’ absences. The ideal candidate will have a desire to grow to a full‑time position and may be required to work at multiple locations (Pacific Beach and Mission Valley) and some Saturday hours.
