Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a physical therapist with pelvic floor experience to assess patients and develop individualized treatment plans. The role involves direct patient care, documentation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across the facility.

Ideal candidates hold a Doctoral degree or a Texas PT license, have at least two years of clinical experience (or accredited residency), and are capable of mentoring staff and students while upholding safety and quality

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Doctoral degree with residency or fellowship, or licensed therapist with ongoing qualification in differential diagnosis.
• Current Texas Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain license.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluation results.
• Provide direct patient care and document findings, progress and instructions.
• Assist Level III physical therapists and lead program development; mentor staff and students.
• Ensure safe care and adherence to Memorial Hermann policies within budget and quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians and insurers.
