MSU Health Care is seeking a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist to join our team. The candidate should be compassionate, trauma-informed, and able to collaborate with other providers in a close-knit setting.

Preferred experience in evaluating and treating pelvic floor dysfunctions, with opportunities for mentorship and gradual caseload growth. Orthopedic experience is a plus, and a Michigan PT license is required.

Qualifications

• Specialized experience and training in evaluating and treating pelvic floor dysfunctions.
• One year of experience treating pelvic health preferred; mentorship possible for right candidate.
• Current Michigan Physical Therapy license required.
• BLS certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for pelvic floor dysfunctions (pain, incontinence, dyspareunia, prolapse, postpartum recovery).
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Utilize manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, therapeutic exercise and biofeedback.
• Educate patients on pelvic health, posture, and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and OB-GYNs to ensure comprehensive care.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries; schedule visits and handle billing procedures.
• Stay current with best practices and continuing education; assist with staff development.
