Job summary

Mercy seeks a qualified Physical Therapist to administer evaluations and develop treatment plans tailored to patients’ physical, developmental, and psychosocial needs. The role supports the care team under the Assistant Director’s supervision and emphasizes quality patient care.

The position requires Missouri licensure, AHA CPR certification, and ability to handle lifting and long standing. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is essential to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited B.S., M.S. or DPT degree in Physical Therapy.
• Must hold current licensure in the State of Missouri.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
• Knowledge of evaluation and treatment principles for diverse diagnoses.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and standing.

Responsibilities

• Administers a PT evaluation and plans/implements a treatment program.
• Provides advisory service to interdisciplinary team to promote quality patient care.
• Performs duties under supervision of the Assistant Director.
