Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist or required pelvic floor certification in AZ.

• Experience assessing and treating pelvic floor dysfunction.
• Proficiency with EHR systems.
• Knowledge of pelvic floor anatomy, physiology, and evidence-based protocols.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to establish therapeutic relationships and provide compassionate care.
• Detail-oriented with accurate documentation.
• Experience with manual therapy and therapeutic exercise.
• Knowledge of women's and men's pelvic health conditions.
• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Preferred experience with biofeedback or ultrasound.
• Preferred experience with diverse populations.
• Commitment to continuing education in pelvic floor therapy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pelvic floor assessments and evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and findings.
• Implement manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and behavioral strategies.
• Educate patients on pelvic floor anatomy, dysfunction, and self-management.
• Prescribe and instruct home exercise programs and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the electronic health records system.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Communicate with referring physicians and healthcare team regarding status and recommendations.
• Maintain a professional and empathetic demeanor with patients on sensitive health matters.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements, infection control, and organizational policies.

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pelvic Floor Therapist to join our healthcare team in Oro Valley, Arizona. In this role, you will provide specialized physical therapy services to patients experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction and related conditions. You will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver evidence-based treatment and support patients in achieving their health goals through personalized therapeutic interventions.

• Conduct comprehensive pelvic floor assessments and evaluations using appropriate clinical examination techniques
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient-specific needs, goals, and clinical findings
• Implement therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and behavioral modification strategies
• Educate patients on pelvic floor anatomy, dysfunction, and self-management techniques to promote long-term wellness
• Prescribe and instruct patients on home exercise programs and lifestyle modifications
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic health records system
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed based on clinical outcomes
• Communicate effectively with referring physicians and other members of the healthcare team regarding patient status and treatment recommendations
• Maintain a professional and empathetic demeanor while working with patients on sensitive health matters
• Adhere to all regulatory requirements, infection control protocols, and organizational policies

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist or certification in pelvic floor physical therapy as required by Arizona regulations
• Specialized training or certification in pelvic floor physical therapy
• Demonstrated expertise in assessing and treating pelvic floor dysfunction conditions
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Strong knowledge of pelvic floor anatomy, physiology, and evidence-based treatment protocols
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to establish therapeutic relationships and provide compassionate patient care
