Job description

About Peak Physical Therapy

Peak Physical Therapy is a therapist-owned outpatient practice with two locations in Helena, MT, reinvigorated a few years ago when Anthony Purviance took ownership alongside co-owner Courtney, bringing fresh energy and dual-specialty mentorship in orthopedics and neurology to the practice. You get 40-minute sessions with no double-booking, unlimited CE funding, and up to $19,000 in fellowship and career investment on top of a competitive base, plus a caseload spanning ortho, neuro, sports, and vestibular care that few two-location practices can match. Whether you're building clinical expertise, growing into leadership, or aiming for ownership yourself, Peak offers a clear track to get there, in a city just ranked the #1 place to live in Montana.

Compensation Package

This role pays $80,000–$111,200 a year. We take mentorship seriously, giving you the support to grow toward the upper end of that range. As you grow your caseload, you'll help more patients and earn more. You won't be figuring it out alone.

In addition, we provide:

  • $10,000 sign-on bonus

  • Unlimited continuing education funds, plus a $500 travel stipend

  • $12,000 fellowship reimbursement

  • 17 days of PTO in year one, increasing with tenure

  • $10,000 in tax-free student loan repayment over 5 years, paid monthly

  • Relocation assistance available

Benefits

On top of that, you get the standard package, done right:

  • Medical insurance, with the clinic covering roughly 75% of your premium

  • HSA option with employer contributions

  • 401(k) with an employer match that vests immediately

  • Dental and vision insurance

  • Short-term disability and life insurance options

Why Clinicians Choose Peak Physical Therapy

At Peak Physical Therapy you’ll get more than a job. You’ll get a career path, mentorship, and the chance to work in one of the country’s most beautiful regions. Some highlights:

  • Clinical autonomy whereyou make the calls on patient care

  • A new grad mentoring program that builds up your caseload as you’re ready for it

  • Unlimited continuing education and specialty certifications, no budget cap, no approval process

  • A real path to Clinic Director or another clinical leadership role

  • Reasonable caseloads and flexible scheduling

  • Evidence-based care, backed by the technology and time to deliver it

Building Our Pelvic Health Program

Pelvic health is a growing focus at Peak, and you'd be joining at a great time to help shape it. You'll have the autonomy to build your caseload, the mentorship to grow your specialty skills, and the Continuing Education to pursue advanced pelvic health certifications. All while treating patients who are often relieved just to find a provider who takes their symptoms seriously.

Life in Helena, MT

Helena was just named the #1 Best Place to Live in Montana (US News & World Report, 2026), with a median home price around $389,000, far below what you'd pay in Bozeman, Denver, or Seattle. It's a walkable capital city, small enough to know your neighbors but with a real downtown, breweries, and restaurants. Outdoor access is built in: hiking trails and reservoirs in town, skiing 45 minutes away, and Glacier and Yellowstone both a short drive away.

What You'll Be Doing

Most of your day is spent directly with patients, planning and delivering hands-on care with the autonomy to treat the way you think is right. That includes:

  • Evaluating patients and building individualized, evidence-based treatment plans

  • Treating pelvic floor dysfunction including incontinence, pelvic pain, prolapse, and pre/postpartum recovery

  • Hands-on interventions through manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and specialty modalities

  • Teaching patients and their families about recovery, home exercise, and injury prevention

  • Tracking progress and adjusting plans as patients progress

  • Collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care

  • Documenting in line with HIPAA and state and federal rules, using AI tools that cut down on paperwork instead of adding to it

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist to grow our pelvic health program — treating patients with incontinence, pelvic pain, prolapse, and pre/postpartum concerns who often haven't found answers elsewhere. You'll bring specialized, compassionate care to a population that needs it and doesn't always get it. Ideal candidates have:

  • A passion for life-long learning who thrive on mentorship and never stop growing

  • A Pelvic Health Certification, or be willing to attend the classes to become certified

  • A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program

  • A Montana physical therapy license, or eligibility for one

  • All experience levels are encouraged to apply

  • Strong communication skills, the kind that put patients at ease

  • Interest in growing into a leadership role down the line

  • Current CPR certification

Physical Requirements

You'll need to:

  • Lift up to 50 pounds

  • Stand, bend, reach, and use fine motor skills regularly

  • Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and therapeutic exercises

Equal Opportunity Employer

Peak Physical Therapy is an equal opportunity employer. We don't discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected status.
