Job summary

Veriipro is seeking an experienced Software Quality Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web and API testing. You will lead PEGA functional testing, drive regression suites, and ensure smooth CI/CD integration across multiple teams.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in SDET/QA roles, strong API testing skills, and a track record of improving QE processes in Agile environments. This role is based in Connecticut with on-site work expectations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software quality engineering, test automation, or SDET roles.
• Hands-on PEGA application testing experience.
• Experience designing and developing automation frameworks for web and API testing.
• Strong regression testing and test execution optimization skills.
• Experience API testing, service validation, and integration testing.
• Test environment management and release validation experience.
• Understanding CI/CD pipelines, cloud-based testing, and shift-left testing.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web applications and REST APIs.
• Lead functional testing of PEGA applications, covering business processes and workflows.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive automation and regression test suites.
• Perform API, service validation, integration, and E2E testing.
• Manage test environments, test data, and release validation activities.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and promote shift-left practices.
• Coordinate E2E testing across multiple teams and manage test planning, execution, and defect triage.
• Lead defect management, root-cause analysis, resolution, and closure.
• Build and maintain test automation dashboards to track in-sprint and regression automation progress.
• Collaborate with Agile development teams to implement QA best practices and defect prevention strategies.
• Partner with developers, DevOps, product teams, and other stakeholders to accelerate automation and ensure high-quality releases.
• Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and overall QE processes.
