Job summary

Veriipro in Seattle is seeking a senior QA Automation Engineer to design and lead end-to-end testing strategies across web and API layers. You will develop and maintain automated tests, frameworks, and CI/CD integrations to ensure release quality.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in software testing, strong coding skills (Python, Java, or JavaScript), and hands-on experience with Selenium/Cypress, Jira, and TestRail.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software testing, QA automation, or SDET roles.
• Strong experience in both manual testing and test automation.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Hands‑on experience with Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with Jira, TestRail, or similar test/defect tools.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum and CI/CD practices.
• Experience testing cloud-based applications and integrated systems.
• Ability to design scalable, maintainable automation solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual and automated test strategies.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts, frameworks, and regression suites.
• Translate requirements into detailed test scenarios, cases, and scripts.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and performance testing.
• Implement scalable automation frameworks using Selenium or Cypress.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Validate applications across cloud environments and integrated systems.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and track defects using Jira.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to improve quality.
• Contribute to continuous testing process improvements.
• Communicate testing progress, risks, and issues clearly.
