About the role

As a PEGA Technology Architect (CSSA), you will make an impact by designing and implementing enterprise-level business solutions using PEGA PRPC. You will be a valued member of the Enterprise Platform Services team and work collaboratively with our clients and other key members of the Supply Chain Management team.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop enterprise-level applications using PEGA PRPC.
  • Implement integrations using REST, SOAP, MQ, File Listeners, and manage error handling.
  • Conduct performance tuning using PAL, DB Trace, and Pre-flight checks.
  • Design and configure user interfaces using Portals, Skins, Sections, Flow Actions, and other UI components.
  • Configure and manage background jobs and queue processors.
  • Work with Admin Studio and SMA for environment monitoring and performance improvement.
  • Perform data modeling and interact with Oracle/SQL databases.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Guide junior developers and conduct peer code reviews.
  • Maintain technical documentation and provide regular status updates.

What you need to have to be considered
  • Pega Certified – CSSA.
  • 7 to 14 years of experience in building and implementing model-driven, enterprise-level business solutions using Pega PRPC.
  • Hands-on experience with PEGA 8.x versions.
  • Expertise in implementing integrations such as REST, SOAP, File Listener, MQ, and error handling.
  • Experience in creating technical rules including Data Pages, Activities, Data Transforms, Flows, Case Types, and Decision Rules.
  • Adherence to Pega and team-specific Guardrails and best practices.
  • Ability to review alert logs and run pre-flight and PAL for performance and quality assurance.
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI and experience with Portals, Skins, Flow Actions, Sections, and UI components.
  • Experience in background jobs implementation and configuration.
  • Proficiency in Admin Studio and SMA configurations for performance improvement.
  • Experience with Oracle and SQL database operations.
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology.
Salary and Benefits

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $120,000 - $150,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
