Job summary

Synechron is seeking an experienced Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) to design, architect, and deliver enterprise-grade digital transformation solutions using the Pega Platform and Constellation architecture. You will collaborate with stakeholders, owners, and architects to drive end-to-end delivery with Pega Infinity 8.x and Constellation UI, Case Management, Decisioning, and BPM.

You will lead large-scale Pega transformations, ensure guardrail compliance, and guide teams through REST/SOAP

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of IT experience with at least 7+ years of hands-on Pega development experience.
  • Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) Certification is mandatory.
  • Strong experience designing and implementing solutions using Pega Infinity 8.x and Constellation architecture.
  • Deep expertise in Case Management, BPM, Workflow Automation, Decisioning, and Customer Service applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Constellation UI framework, DX APIs, and modern UX development.
  • Strong knowledge of Pega Design Studio, App Studio, Dev Studio, ECS, and Guardrail Compliance.
  • Experience designing REST/SOAP integrations, APIs, Kafka, MQ, and external system integration.
  • Experience with Pega Decisioning, Data Pages, Flow Rules, and UI development.
  • Strong understanding of application performance tuning, scalability, security, and deployment strategies.
  • Experience leading large-scale enterprise Pega transformations and migrations to Constellation.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, Deployment Manager, Jenkins, Git, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery and ceremonies.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs.
  • Experience in code reviews and mentoring development teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
  • Experience in Banking/Financial Services/Insurance/Capital Markets is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead architecture and solution design activities for enterprise Pega applications using Constellation architecture.
  • Work with business stakeholders, product owners, and enterprise architects to define roadmaps and strategies.
  • Design scalable and reusable frameworks following Pega best practices.
  • Drive Constellation adoption and modernization initiatives including UI migration.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to Pega developers and architects.
  • Design and implement integrations with REST, SOAP, Kafka, MQ, and other technologies.
  • Review designs, code quality, and guardrail compliance for maintainability.
  • Lead performance tuning and issue resolution across environments.
  • Collaborate with QA to ensure test coverage and SIT/UAT success.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain backlog alignment.
  • Establish CI/CD and DevOps practices for automated builds/releases.
  • Support production deployments and critical issue resolution.
  • Prepare architecture docs and specifications for governance.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities leveraging Pega capabilities.
  • Ensure security, scalability, and performance standards across SDLC.
  • Act as primary authority for Pega implementations and provide strategic guidance.

As a Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) - Constellation, your challenge is to design, architect, and deliver enterprise-grade digital transformation solutions using the Pega Platform and Constellation architecture. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, developers, QA teams, and enterprise leadership to drive end-to-end application delivery. Leveraging your expertise in Pega Infinity 8.x and Constellation UI, Case Management, Decisioning, Integrations, BPM, and Agile methodologies, you will build scalable, reusable, and high-performing solutions while ensuring adherence to Pega best practices and enterprise architecture standards.

Additional Information

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $120K - $130K/year & benefits (see below)
