Qualifications

  • Pega LSA Certification (mandatory).
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in Pega BPM, PRPC, and Pega Infinity.
  • Strong knowledge of Java, SOAP/WSDL/XML, and integration architecture.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and containerized deployments.
  • Proven track record in billing domain or financial services is a plus.

About the role
We are seeking a highly experienced Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-level Pega solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Pega PRPC, Decisioning Hub, and Process Modeling, with a strong background in architecture, integration, and agile delivery methodologies.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the technical design and architecture of Pega applications across multiple projects.
  • Define and enforce design standards, guardrails, and best practices for Pega development.
  • Collaborate with Business Architects, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
  • Oversee Pega Process Modeling to streamline and optimize workflows.
  • Provide expertise in Pega Decision Hub to enhance decision-making and customer engagement.
  • Monitor performance and scalability of Pega applications and proactively resolve issues.

What you need to have to be considered:

  • Pega LSA Certification (mandatory).
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in Pega BPM, including PRPC, Pega Infinity, and Strategic Apps.
  • Strong knowledge of Java, SOAP/WSDL/XML, and integration architecture.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and containerized deployments (e.g., OpenShift).
  • Proven track record in billing domain or financial services is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

These will help you stand out:

  • Experience with Pega Customer Decision Hub, Pega CSR Suite, Insurance, and Healthcare frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, use case development, and SDLC processes.
  • Ability to lead workshops, define interface specifications, and prepare wireframes using Pega Express.
  • Certifications: Pega Certified Lead System Architect (PCLSA), Pega Certified Senior System Architect (PCSSA), Pega Certified System Architect (PCSA), Optional: Pega Certified Decisioning Consultant (PCDC), Pega Certified Data Scientist (PCDS)

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $125,000- 150,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
