Job description

Designation: LBA-Pega Business Architect

Experience: 7-15 Years

Skills: - Business Workshops, Capturing As-Is and To-Be processes in Visions, Writing Functional Specifications, Agile, Lean, Six Sigma

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in Information Systems and apply this knowledge to develop, execute, and improve action plans by providing advice and guidance on information and best practices.
  • Identify, create, and facilitate process design changes through complex business and systems process analysis; focus on quality improvement and data management; ensure data reliability and validity; develop process improvements or re-engineering; recommend elimination; integrate new systems and processes with existing ones; partner with internal and external customers to ensure systems meet long-term business strategies.
  • Support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships with key stakeholders; identify business needs; determine and carry out necessary processes; monitor progress; recognize and capitalize on improvement opportunities; adapt to organizational changes and new responsibilities.
  • Provide project-level analysis, including business requirements, scope matrix, use cases, sequence diagrams, future state proposals, and UAT plans.
  • Elicit and document business and system requirements; assess business process and system inefficiencies.
  • Capture requirements using Pega DCO functionality.
  • Create mock-up screens through Pega Express.
  • Maintain issue logs, meeting minutes, schedules, project summaries, and updates.
  • Develop project plans, estimate resources, monitor milestones, track project phases, report issues, coordinate actions, and resolve conflicts.
  • Review project deliverables and deadlines regularly; develop and execute test plans; support system conversions, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Demonstrate integrity, ownership, and the ability to work well in a team; maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Relevant professional qualification and 5+ years of Business Analysis experience.
  • Knowledge of Banking Domain or consulting experience in a complex Financial Services organization.
  • Experience in Retail and Corporate Banking domains is advantageous.
  • Understanding of architecting omni-channel solutions.
  • Experience defining requirements for multi-locale solutions (Arabic/English).
  • Familiarity with microservice architecture and gathering requirements for systems with multiple integration points.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage conflicting demands to meet deadlines.
  • Understanding of Asset Management business and IPO processes.
  • Knowledge of Financial Crime areas such as AML, KYC, CLM, Client Money is preferable.
  • Certified Business Architect in Pega.
  • Experience with SDLC and disciplines in a multi-vendor environment.
  • Experience or exposure to Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, and technologies like Pega and Guidewire is desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication skills, and a positive attitude; ability to build effective teams.
  • Customer-focused mindset, attentive to process impact on customer experience.
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree; Master’s degree is desirable.
