About the role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Pega Administrator with strong expertise in DevOps practices and AWS Cloud infrastructure to support and enhance enterprise-grade healthcare applications. This role is critical to ensuring the stability, scalability, and performance of Pega environments through automation, cloud deployment, and continuous integration.

In this role, you will:

  • Administer and maintain Pega PRPC environments, including installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades.

  • Lead platform and release management across development, QA, and production environments.

  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Pega Deployment Manager, Jenkins, GitLab, and JFrog.

  • Manage AWS infrastructure for Pega deployments using EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, and RDS.

  • Automate environment provisioning and configuration using Ansible and Terraform.

  • Ensure secure credential management using CyberArk.

What you need to have to be considered

  • Proven experience with Pega PRPC 8.x, Pega 23, and Pega 24, including upgrades and migrations.

  • Hands-on proficiency with DevOps tools: Jenkins, GitLab, JFrog, and Ansible.

  • Strong knowledge of AWS services: EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, and RDS.

  • Experience with Apache Tomcat and containerization technologies like Docker.

  • Familiarity with OpenJDK migration and cloud-native deployment strategies.

  • Deep understanding of Pega tools: Deployment Manager, SMA, AES, PLA.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $125,000- 130,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
