Virginia Peninsula Community College is seeking student tutors to assist peers with academics at Hampton campus. Tutors meet students face-to-face and via Zoom and sessions are limited to 1 hour.
Responsibilities include coordinating with the tutoring coordinator, sharing contact details, attending trainings, maintaining records, and supporting students with disabilities. This is a part-time role with flexible hours, typically up to 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Virginia Peninsula Community College is a two-year institution of higher education established as a part of a statewide system of community colleges. It primarily serves the residents of the cities of Hampton, Newport News, Poquoson, and Williamsburg, and the counties of James City and York. Peer tutors assist students in achieving academically by meeting regularly to clarify learning
problems and work on study skills. Tutoring is a supplement to teaching.
