Job summary

Pier 360 in Washington state seeks a part-time Peer Support‑Warm Line worker for evening shifts from 4:00 pm to 12:00 am. The Warm Line is a peer‑run, non‑crisis service supporting people in recovery by offering connection and resource guidance.

You will provide compassionate, lived-experience-based support, helping callers navigate recovery options while upholding Pier 360’s Core Values and collaborating with the team to ensure compassionate, effective assistance.

Responsibilities

• Document interactions as required by program guidelines and maintain confidentiality.

Pier 360 seeks Peer Support-Warm Line (part-time, evenings)

What is Pier 360?

Pier 360 ( Formerly CVAB) is a peer-run organization encouraging self-determination and self-sufficiency for people in mental health and addictions recovery. The heart of our agency is peer-to-peer support because we are people in recovery wanting to support others on their life's journey. CVAB supports people seeking healing, recovery, and wellness, or those who are vulnerable or in crisis. Pier 360 is driven by our Core Values, including Respect, Innovation, Courage, Responsibility, Welcoming, Curiosity, Empowerment, Genuineness, and Justice.

The Opportunity

The Warm Line is a non-crisis telephone support service run for and by persons identifying as being in recovery. It operates every evening, from 4:00 pm to 12:00 am. This is a part-time position.

A Peer Support on the Warm Line uses the phone to support peers living their own lives and directing their own recovery, healing, and wellness process by providing support and connection to resources.

The Responsibilities

The Qualifications

We are looking for people who are positive, take initiative, have demonstrated the ability to work independently and well with others, are in mental health or substance use recovery, and are great at being with others seeking something better or different in life.

The Bennies

$19 - 22.00 per hour, depending on experience and other considerations related to the position.
