Telecare Corporation is seeking a Peer Support Specialist in Riverside, CA to engage, inspire, and facilitate conversations that help members pursue recovery goals. You will contribute to Telecare's Recovery Centered Clinical System by honoring each person's preferences and collaborating with the team.
The role requires a High School diploma, peer certification, and 1–2 years’ experience with psychiatric services, plus a valid driver's license.

Peer Support Specialists engage, inspire, and facilitate meaningful conversations with members served that assist the person to explore, create, and meet their own recovery goals. Peer Support Specialists provide consultation to the team to promote and reinforce Telecare's Recovery Culture as defined by the Telecare Recovery Centered Clinical System (RCCS), in which each member's point of view and preferences are recognized, understood, respected, and integrated into services and self‑help programming. Additionally, Peer Support Specialists respond to critical situations with high level engagement and de‑escalation skills which support a least restrictive environment for individuals experiencing an emergency related to a mental health/addiction challenge.
(1) Full-Time | PM | Shifts: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM | Days: Sunday - Thursday
(1) Full-Time | NOC | Shifts: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM | Days: Friday - Monday
Expected starting wage is $23.00. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

As part of the Telecare family, Lagos Crisis Residential Facility provides a peer‑to‑peer, community‑based, recovery‑oriented alternative to hospitalization. The 16‑bed program offers short‑stay residential services to adults ages 18‑59 who have severe and persistent mental health issues and need an intensive level of support but do not require treatment in a locked program. Assessments, individual and group therapy, and person‑centered counseling and training are provided in a supportive, home‑like environment to assist clients in living successfully in community.
