Job summary

DeCoach Recovery Centre in Dayton, OH is seeking a dedicated Peer Support Specialist for our Mobile Crisis Team. This full-time role supports adults in crisis under clinical supervision, providing individual, family, and group support and aiding recovery journeys.

You will document care, participate in team reviews, and help improve services while maintaining current knowledge of substance use treatments. A valid Ohio driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• Active Ohio driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past 3 years.
• Competence in peer support services.
• Working knowledge of substance use and current therapeutic methods.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support services to adults under clinical supervision, meeting quality and productivity standards.
• Deliver individualized care as outlined in each client’s treatment plan, including family and group support.
• Partner with managers to review services, assess needs, and suggest improvements.
• Document care following DeCoach policies and procedures.

What You’ll Do

• Support clients through crisis and beyond: Provide peer support services to adults under clinical supervision, meeting quality and productivity standards that reflect our mission, vision, and values
• Deliver individualized care: Provide the services outlined in each client’s Individual Treatment Plan, as determined by the Treatment Team, including individual, family, and group support, community activities, facility visits, vocational training, and follow-up care
• Help us get better: Partner with administrative and team managers to review our services, assess needs, and recommend improvements
• Keep it documented: Follow correct documentation procedures and stay current on DeCoach policies and procedures

What You Bring
