Job summary
Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is seeking a Peer Support Specialist to join the F/ACT clinical team in Arizona.
You will coordinate services with daily staffings and support clients, families, and significant others by sharing recovery experience and guiding access to community resources to promote recovery and self-improvement. The role requires a high school diploma or GED (associate degree preferred), at least six months of recovery experience, 1–3 years in behavioral health or substance use
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or higher preferred.
- At least six months of recovery from substance use or mental health disorders.
- 1–3 years of experience in Behavioral Health/Substance Abuse preferred.
- Current AZ Driver’s License required.
- Certified Peer Support Specialist certification required; BHT per policy.
- Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate services with the clinical team for F/ACT clients.
- Share recovery experiences to provide hope and guidance.
- Assist clients and families in accessing community resources to promote recovery.

The F/ACT Peer Support Specialist is a member of the clinical team dedicated to F/ACT clients. Coordinates services based on daily staffings with other members of the clinical team, provides experience, strength, and hope to individuals, their families, and significant others by sharing their recovery experience and knowledge of the behavioral health system and available community resources to promote recovery and self‑improvement.
- Highschool diploma or GED required. Associate Degree or higher preferred.
- Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders required.
- 1-3 years of experience working in the Behavioral Health and/or Substance Abuse field preferred
- Current AZ Driver’s License
- Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) in accordance with A.A.C. R9-10-101.33 and CBI Clinical Policies and Procedures required.
- Certified Peer Support Specialist certification.
- Fingerprint Clearance Card.
