Job summary

STEPS ON STONESTREET LLC in Kentucky is seeking a Peer Support Specialist to work with clients recovering from substance use disorders. This in-person role follows a two-shift schedule, with afternoon/evening hours Wednesday to Friday 2pm-10pm and Saturday to Sunday 8am-4pm.

You will lead peer sessions, help clients navigate meetings, and collaborate with the clinical team to coordinate services. A strong foundation in recovery and ability to work in a team are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year in recovery.
• Peer Support Certification by Kentucky or eligible to obtain.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct peer support group sessions and individual sessions for clients with substance use disorders.
• Support clients by taking them to meetings, helping with a 12-step program, life skills and daily living skills.
• Support clients in recovery and maintain positive working relationships.
• Work with the Clinical Team to coordinate needed services for clients.
