Job summary

TPC Wellness in Wilmington, OH is seeking a dedicated Peer Support Specialist to provide recovery-focused support to individuals facing mental health and/or substance use challenges. You will use personal lived experience to mentor clients on their recovery journeys and help connect them with essential services.

Responsibilities include building trusted relationships, assisting with housing, employment, healthcare, and resources, plus leading groups and documenting interactions.

Qualifications

• Lived experience with mental health or substance use recovery (1+ year sustained recovery).
• CPRS certification required (Ohio Certified Peer Recovery Supporter).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license; able to pass background and drug screening.
• Willingness to work in office, community, and home settings; some travel required.

About The Role
