RiseWell Community Services is seeking a Full-time Peer Specialist to join the Afoordable Housing program in Far Rockaway, NY. The role involves acting as a positive community role model, counseling, and peer support for residents with mental health and/or substance use diagnoses in a mixed-use affordable housing setting.

Qualified candidates have lived experience relevant to the client population, with experience assisting individuals who are homeless or in recovery.

Competenze

• Lived experience relevant to client population.
• Experience with individuals who are homeless or in recovery from mental illness or substance abuse.
• Clean valid NY State Driver’s License; background check approval.
