A leading community development organization is seeking a Peer Specialist to assist clients at a men's shelter. This role involves supporting clients' basic social service needs, monitoring client activities, and helping with daily living skills. Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma and experience working with at-risk populations.
The Peer Specialist will assist with clients' basic social service needs. The individual will work in conjunction with the social services team to monitor and provide appropriate basic services to clients at a 200+ bed men’s shelter. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED.
At least 1-year experience working with homeless or special needs populations.
Comfortable working with at-risk and homeless individuals.
