The Peer Specialist role exists to provide individual peer support to clients experiencing mental health and/or substance use conditions by using lived experience to promote recovery, offer advocacy, and deliver trauma-informed support. The position contributes to an interdisciplinary team by providing insight, guidance, and support that helps individuals navigate their recovery, build coping skills, and achieve personal goals.
