A family support organization is seeking a Peer Services Specialist in Indiana to provide peer support, resources, and training to families of children with diverse health needs. The role includes documenting interactions, creating community resources, and assisting in events. Candidates should have strong interpersonal skills, and experience with advocacy is preferred. This position allows for remote work with occasional in-state travel.
Position Summary: Peer Services Specialist. The Peer Services Specialist (PSS) delivers peer to peer support, resources, training, and community connections to the families and caregivers we serve. PSS team members share information with families allowing them to understand systems and services and make informed decisions about their child’s care. They document interactions in INF2F’s CRM, support the development and maintenance of organizational resources, represent INF2F at events and trainings, contribute to special projects, and assist with electronic communications. This position reports to the Peer Services Supervisor.
High School diploma or high school equivalency required; bachelor's degree preferred.
Must have access to stable Wi-Fi with sufficient bandwidth to support video conferencing, cloud-based tools, and other online work-related activities.
The Peer Services Specialist can expect light to medium physical exertion and the ability to lift <30 pounds and walk medium to long distances.
