Job Summary and Responsibilities

Acentra Health is seeking peer reviewers with at least 5 years of clinical experience to review medical records and make a standard of care determination. The reports require the peer reviewer to discuss clinical disease processes, published guidelines, overall care provided and quality improvement recommendations.

Responsibilities include:

• Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules.
• Review medical records for standard of care determinations and provide quality improvement recommendations.
• Work from home with a flexible schedule as a non‑clinical role that enhances clinical expertise.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted license.
• Board certification (Physicians only).
• 5 years’ clinical experience as a Family Medicine Physician with an outpatient setting experience of 5 years.
• Active clinical practice of at least 20 hours per week.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written communication skills.

Pay Range

USD $125.00 - $125.00 per hour.
