Peer Reviewer - Pediatric Hematology-Oncology (remote)

Reviewer Duties

  • Provide final determinations regarding medical necessity and quality of care issues.
  • Make fair and unbiased decisions based on current evidence-based practice and standards of care.

Qualifications

  • Must have an unrestricted medical license in any state.
  • Must be board-certified (if applicable) by a medical specialty board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties, the American Osteopathic Association, or any other nationally recognized board association that confers board certification.
  • Must be engaged in active clinical practice in your specialty, defined as direct or virtual patient care for a minimum of 24 hours per week.
  • Must have at least 5 years of clinical experience.
  • In some cases, hospital medical staff privileges may be required.
  • Must have adequate Wi-Fi capability and have Microsoft Word.
  • Must have a computer that is compatible with the specific IT systems we use.
