Peer Recovery Support Specialist (Assertive Community Treatment)

Northwood Health Systems’ Assertive Community Treatment team is seeking applicants eligible for a West Virginia Peer Recovery Certification (PRSS) with a Bachelor’s degree in a human services field to deliver high quality peer recovery support services full time. Peer Recovery Support services are delivered by trained peers who have common life experiences with the people they are serving and can extend the reach of treatment beyond the clinical setting into the community and home environment to support and assist individuals with staying engaged in the recovery process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a human services field
  • 1 year experience working with mental health and/or SUD populations
  • PRSS certification or willingness to actively seek certification upon hire
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Must pass a background check
  • Enjoy working with people in recovery
