Brandywine Counseling is seeking a Peer Recovery Supervisor for the Dover Hopes and Dreams Drop-in Center. You will direct and coach peer staff, lead training, and ensure policy compliance while safeguarding confidentiality.

Responsibilities include staff scheduling, performance reviews, coordinating monthly peer support groups, tracking wellness plans, handling participant concerns, and generating monthly reports.

Qualificações

• Requires CPRS or CADC certification.
• 3 years' experience in Substance Abuse/Mental Health.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Science or related field.

Brandywine Counseling is Seeking a Peer Recovery Supervisor for our Dover Hopes and Dreams Drop-in Center!

Since 1985, Brandywine Counseling & Community Services, Inc. (BCCS) has been a trusted provider of outstanding substance abuse and behavioral health treatment. BCCS is a community organization that prides itself on helping members of our community recover with dignity. We enhance the quality of life by creatively providing Education, Advocacy, Prevention, Early Intervention, and Treatment Services. We promote hope and empowerment to persons and families touched by mental illness, substance abuse, HIV and multiple occurring diagnoses, and their related challenges.

As a Peer Recovery Supervisor with BCCS, you will:

• Direct and coach peer staff, observe day-to-day work, and conduct annual performance reviews.
• Lead staff orientation and ongoing training, support professional development, and track peer certification.
• Ensure staff follow BCCS policies and model professional boundaries and confidentiality.
• Partner with the Prevention Program Manager on hiring and terminations. Provide performance feedback, administer corrective action, and address staff grievances under BCCS policies.
• Assign participants to peer staff and designate staff to lead monthly peer support groups. Help plan or facilitate groups as needed.
• Review wellness, crisis and diversion, and personal recovery plans with peer staff for completeness and timely follow-up.
• Address participant concerns and help resolve conflicts between participants and peer staff.
• Track contract outcomes, including completion of initial plans and six-month wellness follow-ups. Review peer service records, address documentation gaps, and prepare monthly reports.
• Participate in BCCS committees and meetings and provide coverage when the Program Manager is absent.
• Provide outreach and education, build relationships with service providers, connect participants to resources, and help secure donations for the center.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• REQUIRED: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• REQUIRED: 3 years' experience in Substance Abuse/Mental Health
• REQUIRED: Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) or CADC
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Science or a Related Field

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday
• From 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Pay

• Starting at $21/hour
• Commensurate based on experience, education, and certification!
