Peer Recovery Specialist CCBHC (Part Time)
Location: Woonsocket, RI

Community Care Alliance is proud to offer an array of services supporting individuals who are homeless/unstably housed and coping with mental health and substance use challenges. Many of these services are part of Serenity, a peer-run recovery center, supporting individuals in all stages of recovery. We are searching for a Peer Recovery Specialist to support this team. If you thrive in an environment where every day offers a unique new challenge, our team is for you.

Requirements:

  • Must be certified or willing to work towards certification.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of mental health and substance use issues.
  • Able to develop treatment plans and use an EHR.

Responsibilities:

  • Support clients to build recovery capital, individually and in groups.
  • Create opportunities to engage in substance-free social activities.
  • Connect clients to Detox and higher levels of care.
