Position Summary:
A Peer Recovery Coach is a person who has progressed in their own recovery from alcohol or other drug abuse or mental disorder and is willing to self-identify as a peer and work to assist other individuals. The Recovery Coach provides peer support services; serves as a consumer advocate; provides consumer information and peer support for consumers in a variety of settings. Performs a wide range of tasks to support consumers in living their own lives and directing their own recovery and wellness process.
