Job summary

Ignitus Recovery in Boulder, CO is hiring a Peer Recovery Coach. You will rely on your lived recovery experience to mentor clients through treatment, engage in groups, and support transitions.

This full-time, on-site role offers 8-hour shifts and pay from $20.00 to $26.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. Collaborate with clinical and support staff to coordinate care, document services in the EHR, and help clients access community resources and long-term wellness.

Qualifications

• Self-identifies as a person with lived recovery experience and willing to share appropriately in a professional setting.
• Colorado peer recovery certification or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic understanding of addiction and recovery processes.
• Strong mentoring and peer support skills.
• Ability to de-escalate crises and follow safety protocols.
• Strong documentation skills in EHR or records.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Build rapport and authentic peer relationships with clients.
• Provide one-on-one mentoring and recovery planning.
• Facilitate recovery-focused groups and skill-building sessions.
• Support clients through admission, engagement, transitions, and discharge planning.
• Assist with navigating cravings and triggers using recovery tools.
• Document services and maintain confidential records in EHR.
• Collaborate with clinical and support staff for coordinated care.
• Engage in supervision and pursue peer recovery certification as needed.
